The Allen-Bradley 1336F-B030-AN-EN-LA4-L4 motor control drive is an AC-powered 1336 PLUS II series drive. The drive has modular architecture with slots for hosting plug-in modules. There are 2 slots for analog I/O modules, 1 slot for an HMI module, 1 slot for a communication module, and 1 slot for a control interface module. Two of the slots on the 1336F-B030-AN-EN-LA4-L4 drive are occupied by factory-installed modules and the rest can be filled by optional modules that are available separately. The occupied slots include 1 of the slots for analog I/O modules and the slot for a control interface. The analog I/O module supports 1 isolated input channel and 1 isolated output channel. The output also derates if the ambient temperature rises above 50 degrees Celsius or if the drive is used at elevations higher than 1000 meters above sea level. The 1336F-B030-AN-EN-LA4-L4 drive’s heatsink helps to improve the rate of the drive’s heat dissipation. Even so, smooth airflow around the drive is required for proper heat dissipation. Allen-Bradley recommends 4 inches of minimum airflow space on either side of adjacent AC drives. The 1336F-B030-AN-EN-LA4-L4 drive should only be installed by trained personnel to ensure that it is installed properly.
