The 1336F-B040-AA-EN-GM5-HAS1 motor control drive is a high-performance sensorless vector control drive developed by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation in the 1336 PLUS II series. In order to provide superior motor control performance with low power consumption ratings and improved energy efficiency ratings, the drive uses SVC or Sensorless Vector Control technology. The 1336F-B040-AA-EN-GM5-HAS1 drive is a versatile motor control solution that is simple to customize and that is able to control most general-purpose applications. It includes standard application settings that are easy to program for applications like those involving fans, mixers, blowers, and conveyors. The 1336F-B040-AA-EN-GM5-HAS1 drive is controlled by a comprehensive human-machine interface module that is factory-installed and that can be used to control, configure, and monitor the drive operations. Additionally, the drive has 2 control modes that are intended to handle practically all motor control applications. The sensorless vector control mode is for dynamic motor control applications that need accurate speed and torque control, while the Volts per Hertz mode is for simple motor control applications or applications that involve more than 1 motor.

The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1336F-B040-AA-EN-GM5-HAS1 1336 PLUS II series adjustable frequency motor control drive generates a maximum of 40 Horsepower of nominal motor output power when operating with a 3-phase 380 to 480 Volts AC power supply. The drive comes in a Size C frame with an enclosed chassis with an ingress protection rating of IP 20 (NEMA Type 1). The 1336F-B040-AA-EN-GM5-HAS1 drive comes equipped with 2 factory-installed option modules which are a programmer/controller human-machine interface or HMI with a built-in potentiometer and an internal DeviceNet communication module that is fitted into the drive's main control board. The 1336F-B040-AA-EN-GM5-HAS1 drive is powered by PWM or Pulse Width Modulation technology and it includes an embedded IGBT switching device to help minimize motor noise during operation. As a wall-mounting drive, this drive has 4 mounting holes and it measures approximately  27.60 inches in height, 11.88 inches in width, and 9.37 inches in depth. It is meant to be mounted vertically.
