It is a part of the 1336 PLUS II drive series from Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. It is a high-performance adjustable frequency drive that allows its users to adjust the operating speed and torque of 3-phase AC induction motors. The drive is compact and it fits into a Size C frame. The 1336F-B040-AA-EN-HAS1-LA1-L6 drive includes 2 programmable motor control modes which are the SVC or Sensorless Vector Control mode and the Volts per Hertz control mode. The sensorless vector control mode is an advanced flux vector control method, and the Volts per Hertz control mode is a scalar control mode. The sensorless vector control mode enables the drive to control conventional motors without using external feedback encoders, and it supports high torque ratings and fast reaction times even at low motor speeds. The 1336F-B040-AA-EN-HAS1-LA1-L6 drive is constructed to accommodate motors rated at up to 40 Horsepower. It operates with a 3-phase input voltage range of 380 to 480 Volts AC. The main features of this drive include a built-in SCANport serial communication port, flexible analog I/O, an auto economizer function, a process PI controller feature, and DC injection braking.
