The 1336F-B040-AA-EN-LA3-L6 drive is an Allen-Bradley motor control drive with high efficiency and adjustable frequency that is built for controlling motors in general-purpose applications. This 1336 PLUS II drive supports long-term continuous and energy-efficient operation in industrial applications like fans, pumps, compressors, and mixer applications that demand both continuous operation and highly dynamic performance. This drive is easy to install and commission. It is also easy to monitor, diagnose, and maintain. The 1336F-B040-AA-EN-LA3-L6 drive provides maximum safety for the users and the maintenance personnel through its integrated over/under voltage protection, ground fault protection, input phase protection, motor overload protection, DC bus overvoltage protection, and surge protection for up to 6 kilovolts. External dynamic braking and a common mode choke are some of the optional features available separately for the drive for special applications. The 1336F-B040-AA-EN-LA3-L6 drive has an operating speed range of 120:1 and its motor control modes include the Volts per Hertz control mode and the sensorless vector control mode.

The Allen-Bradley 1336F-B040-AA-EN-LA3-L6 1336 PLUS II motor control drive features a Size C frame and an IP 20-certified enclosure and it should be installed indoors in a well-ventilated area in a non-hazardous environment. The ambient temperature around the drive must be between 32 and 104 degrees Fahrenheit for optimal operation. If the ambient temperature is higher than the specified maximum safe operating temperature, the 1336F-B040-AA-EN-LA3-L6 drive’s output must be derated. The drive supports dual overload ratings of 115% and 150% for variable torque and constant torque applications, respectively. This 1336 PLUS II series drive comes pre-equipped with an analog output interface which provides it with 2 isolated analog outputs. Depending on the application, the isolated analog output channels on this interface can be configured to operate at 0 to 10 Volts or 0 to 20 milliamps. The 1336F-B040-AA-EN-LA3-L6 drive also has a 115 Volts AC control interface.
