The Allen-Bradley 1336F-B040-AA-ES-HAS2-L6 1336 PLUS II series motor control drive is an industrial-grade 3-phase AC adjustable frequency drive with a compact design and an IP 20-rated enclosure. Due to its advanced motor speed control capabilities, energy-saving features, excellent power factor rating, and a multitude of motor protection features, the 1336F-B040-AA-ES-HAS2-L6 drive is widely used in industrial applications that involve induction motors. To improve its system’s efficiency, safety, and reliability, it integrates an industry-leading energy-efficient sensorless vector motor control option, IGBTs (insulated gate bipolar transistors), dynamic current control technology, and a process PI controller. The 1336F-B040-AA-ES-HAS2-L6 drive is a PWM-based drive with carrier frequency ratings that are programmable from 2 to 6 kilohertz (its nominal carrier frequency rating is 4 kilohertz). It operates with an input voltage range of 380 to 480 Volts AC (3-phase) and it supports an allowable input voltage fluctuation range of -10% to +10% of the nominal line voltage. Its maximum output voltage is proportional to its input supply voltage and it is rated between 0 and 480 Volts AC. The 1336F-B040-AA-ES-HAS2-L6 drive is available in an IP 20 (NEMA Type 1) protective enclosure which is rated for indoor installation only.

The apparent power rating of the Allen-Bradley 1336 PLUS II series 1336F-B040-AA-ES-HAS2-L6 motor control drive is 48 kVA and its maximum nominal output power rating for constant torque applications is 40 Horsepower. The 1336F-B040-AA-ES-HAS2-L6 drive has a Size C frame and it is designed for wall mounting. It comes pre-installed with a human-machine Interface module which provides a backlit LCD display panel, a control panel with a keypad, and a digital speed potentiometer. The human-machine interface can display up to 32 characters of text at a time, it is designed to support simple navigation through the drive’s menus and parameters, and provides on-screen diagnostics and troubleshooting. In addition, the 1336F-B040-AA-ES-HAS2-L6 drive has a control interface that is rated at 115 Volts AC and that is connected to the drive’s TB3 terminal block. The DeviceNet, ControlNet, and Flex I/O protocols are some of the Fieldbus communication protocols that are supported by the 1336F-B040-AA-ES-HAS2-L6 motor control drive through optional communication modules.
