The 1336F-B040-AN-EN-GM1-HAS2 drive is a motor control drive that was developed by Allen-Bradley in the 1336 PLUS II series. The drive supports direct connection to an AC power supply in safe environments. However, installing an isolation transformer is recommended if the AC supply experiences outages or voltage transients. Similarly, the operators are encouraged to use a fuse or circuit breaker at the drive input for additional electrical protection. This is because the 1336F-B040-AN-EN-GM1-HAS2  drive does not support integrated short-circuit protection. A protection device can also be used at the drive output to protect the connected motor.
