The 1336F-B040-AN-EN-HAS2-L4 motor control drive from Allen-Bradley is designed to control 3-phase induction motors in a variety of industrial applications. It is a microprocessor-based 1336 PLUS II series adjustable frequency drive that utilizes pulse width modulation (PWM) technology and Isolated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) technology. The 1336F-B040-AN-EN-HAS2-L4 drive uses its sensorless vector control algorithm to control large and advanced motors and to dynamically determine a motor’s torque and speed in variable torque load applications. Additionally, this Allen-Bradley drive has a more standard control algorithm called the “Volts per Hertz” algorithm for controlling standard types of motors. The 1336F-B040-AN-EN-HAS2-L4 has a fundamental input power factor of 0.98. Its sensorless vector control technology provides over 250% starting torque for large motors and motor loads.
