The Allen-Bradley 1336 PLUS II series 1336F-B040-AN-EN-HCS1-LA2-L6 adjustable frequency drive is a high-performance motor control drive with an open enclosure. The drive provides adjustable speed and torque control to different types of 3-phase motors. This microprocessor-based drive comes standard with a detachable human-machine interface that is mounted in an opening in its front panel. The human-machine interface has a keypad, a 32-character backlit LCD screen, and an analog type of speed potentiometer. Additionally, the drive has an analog interface with 2 isolated and user-configurable inputs and a 115 Volts AC-rated control interface with 9 control input channels. The 1336F-B040-AN-EN-HCS1-LA2-L6 drive supports a speed range of 120:1 in constant torque applications, over 250% starting torque, and advanced low-speed torque control. It utilizes a 32-bit microprocessor, IGBTs (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistors), and adjustable switching frequency levels to provide quiet motor operation and higher levels of motor efficiency.

The Allen-Bradley 1336 PLUS II series 1336F-B040-AN-EN-HCS1-LA2-L6 motor control drive is designed to operate at 380 to 480 Volts AC 3-phase input voltage at 50 to 60 Hertz frequency, and it can operate with a maximum motor output rating of 40 Horsepower for constant torque applications. It can also be used in variable torque applications. The 1336F-B040-AN-EN-HCS1-LA2-L6 drive supports an intermittent overload rating of up to 150 percent for 60 seconds when handling applications with constant torque loads. A process PI controller feature is incorporated into the 1336F-B040-AN-EN-HCS1-LA2-L6 drive and this feature automatically monitors and adjusts the drive's output frequency depending on the setpoint and PI feedback ratings. In addition, the drive can support an external dynamic braking chopper and a common mode choke feature for certain applications. The 1336F-B040-AN-EN-HCS1-LA2-L6 drive supports serial communication.
