The Allen-Bradley 1336F-B040-AN-ES-GM1-HCS2-L6 controller is a 1336 PLUS II series motor controller equipped with several terminal blocks and interface modules. Its first terminal block (TB1) is its power terminal block which hosts all of its power-related input and output connections. The 1336F-B040-AN-ES-GM1-HCS2-L6 controller’s second terminal block (TB2) hosts all of the controller’s standard input and output channels. If any optional interface modules with specific types of inputs and outputs are installed on the 1336F-B040-AN-ES-GM1-HCS2-L6 controller, they will be installed at the TB2 terminal block and they will replace some or all of the controller’s standard input and output channels. The controller’s third terminal block (TB3) hosts the controller’s 115 Volts AC-rated control interface with 9 programmable control inputs which are the controller’s interface for receiving control commands. The 1336F-B040-AN-ES-GM1-HCS2-L6 controller also has 2 terminal blocks (TB4 and TB6) which are auxiliary DC inputs.
The Allen-Bradley 1336F-B040-AN-ES-GM1-HCS2-L6 1336 PLUS II series motor controller’s auxiliary DC input terminal blocks make it possible for the controller’s power supplies to be operated from an external voltage supply. The TB4 terminal block can power the controller’s low voltage power supply externally, and this allows the controller to continue several of its functions even without voltage. The TB6 terminal block can power the 1336F-B040-AN-ES-GM1-HCS2-L6 controller’s high voltage power supply externally, and this provides the controller with inverter IGBT voltage and with the low voltage that is required for powering the controller’s low voltage power supply. It also allows the 1336F-B040-AN-ES-GM1-HCS2-L6 controller to operate without bus voltage when necessary. The 1336F-B040-AN-ES-GM1-HCS2-L6 controller’s bus uses DC voltage and it is designed to reduce the controller’s snubber losses and inductance levels as much as possible. This controller communicates through a Remote I/O interface module and it is programmable through its human-machine interface module.
