The Allen-Bradley 1336 PLUS II 1336F-B050-AA-EN-HCS2-LA2 controller is a motor controller suitable for different kinds of motors that are commonly found in industrial systems. It has all of the built-in features that it needs for controlling many different motors, it comes with a couple of useful optional features that allow it to control even more motors, and it has the capacity for additional optional features that are not included but that can be ordered separately and installed to expand its capabilities even further. The 1336F-B050-AA-EN-HCS2-LA2 controller includes an optional analog interface and an optional human-machine interface that make it functional. The analog interface has 2 inputs that are user-configurable and that can be used to connect the 1336F-B050-AA-EN-HCS2-LA2 controller to external devices. The human-machine interface has a digital motor speed potentiometer and a function for uploading and downloading additional application data into the controller. The 1336F-B050-AA-EN-HCS2-LA2 controller cannot be used until it has been programmed, and its human-machine interface makes it easy to program as quickly as possible.

The 1336F-B050-AA-EN-HCS2-LA2 controller should only be used with compatible motor loads whenever possible, but it is designed to handle occasional overloads safely. This controller has different overload ratings depending on what type of torque it is using. When the 1336F-B050-AA-EN-HCS2-LA2 controller is using constant torque, it can handle an overload rating of up to 150% of the rated output. Additionally, when the 1336F-B050-AA-EN-HCS2-LA2 controller is using variable torque, it can handle an overload rating of up to 115% of the rated output. Both of these overload ratings are valid for 60 seconds. The 1336F-B050-AA-EN-HCS2-LA2 controller can handle a variety of standard motor loads with its customizable Volts/Hertz motor control mode, and it can handle unusually large motor loads and other types of non-standard motor loads with its sensorless vector motor control mode and the torque that it produces.
