The digital motor control drive with the product code 1336F-B050-AA-EN-HCS2-LA3-L6 was developed by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation as part of the 1336 PLUS II product line. The 1336F-B050-AA-EN-HCS2-LA3-L6 drive has a nominal output power rating of 37 kilowatts (50 Horsepower) and a 3-phase input voltage rating of 380 to 480 Volts AC. The NEMA Type 1 enclosure of the drive has an IP 20 protection rating and the whole drive is designed to be compact. This compact design makes the drive easy to install and it leaves more installation space available around it for other devices. The 1336F-B050-AA-EN-HCS2-LA3-L6 drive can operate at temperatures between 32 and 104 degrees Fahrenheit without derating and it can be installed and used at altitudes of up to 3300 feet above sea level without derating. To ensure dependable and steady operation and to eliminate noise, the 1336F-B050-AA-EN-HCS2-LA3-L6 motor control drive has isolated power and logic components.

The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1336F-B050-AA-EN-HCS2-LA3-L6 1336 PLUS II series motor control  drive features an optional programmer/controller HMI with an upload/download function and a digital potentiometer. The drive also has an optional control interface that operates at 115 Volts AC and an optional analog interface with 2 isolated and configurable outputs. The 1336F-B050-AA-EN-HCS2-LA3-L6 drive has a programmable and customizable “Volts per Hertz” control mode that can be used to control most standard induction motors and even to several standard induction motors that have different sizes and ratings. The 1336F-B050-AA-EN-HCS2-LA3-L6 drive also has a powerful “sensorless vector control” mode that can be used to control a very large induction motor.  For some applications, the drive must "take up" or “pick up” a spinning motor load at its present speed and direction before accelerating or decelerating to the actual specified speed and direction. The drive can use its flying start feature to perform this function. Additionally, the drive has several other special and programmable features like the slip compensation, dynamic braking, dual motor acceleration/deceleration profiles, traverse function, and auto-tuning feature.
