The Allen-Bradley 1336F-B050-AA-ES-HAS2-LA1 1336 PLUS II controller was manufactured as a drive or control device for many motors. The typical motor load that the 1336F-B050-AA-ES-HAS2-LA1 controller is designed for and most often used for is a 3-phase AC inductive motor load. It is also often used with 4-pole or 6-pole types of NEMA Design B industrial motors, and while it is usually used with induction motors, it can also control synchronous motors. The 1336F-B050-AA-ES-HAS2-LA1 controller is compatible with synchronous motors in its optional Volts per Hertz control mode, but not in its default sensorless vector control mode. However, it is compatible with both large and complex induction motors in its sensorless vector mode, even though it is a compact device.
