The Allen-Bradley 1336F-B050-AE-EN-GM1-HAS2-L6 1336 PLUS II series drive is an AC-powered motor control drive. It comes in an EMC-compatible NEMA Type 1 enclosure that has an IP 20 ingress protection rating. However, the drive cannot achieve complete EMC compatibility with just its enclosure and it must be mounted in a suitable industrial cabinet in many environments to achieve a higher degree of protection from dust and moisture than its enclosure provides. The drive enclosure has 4 holes that make it easy to mount securely. The 1336F-B050-AE-EN-GM1-HAS2-L6 drive is meant to be mounted vertically and there must be enough space between it and all adjacent equipment for smooth airflow and reliable air-cooling. The drive can tolerate a maximum ambient temperature of 40 degrees Celsius without derating or malfunctioning and it needs enough airflow around it to keep the ambient temperature at or below this rating. The 1336F-B050-AE-EN-GM1-HAS2-L6 drive needs 4 inches or more of airflow space on either side of it and 6 inches or more of airflow space above and below it to maintain its temperature.
