The 1336F-BRF05-AE-EN is a 480 Volts AC drive unit from the 1336 Plus II series of drives manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. It is a 3-phase device and it is protected by an IP20 rated enclosure. The drive also meets the EMC requirements. These Allen-Bradley 1336 Plus II drives are known to offer outstanding levels of performance for controlling the torque and speed of induction motor devices. The 1336F-BRF05-AE-EN features different protective features. It comes with different types of detection and trip functions. It can detect and trip for undervoltage, overvoltage, drive overcurrent, overtemperature, drive output short, load loss, and single-phase situations. Apart from the trips, it also features overcurrent stall and overvoltage stall protection. For additional safety measures, the drive is equipped with 6 drive alarms and a fault reset input button is also provided in this drive.

The 1336F-BRF05-AE-EN is equipped with an operator interface on the front side of the drive. The operator interface has a backlit display along with some keys with basic functions. The drive uses English as the default language. An insulated gate bipolar transistor is used for braking purposes. The 1336F-BRF05-AE-EN has a compact size and it can be installed even in a small space. The drive has a power output rating of 0.5 Horsepower. The drive should be properly grounded during the installation process. All of the signal wiring must be separated from the power or control wiring. It should be verified that a shielded cable and/or conduit is used if this type of cable is indicated in any interconnection diagrams or in the following sections. If the shielded cable is required, the shields must be grounded at the drive end but only at 1 end of the drive ground lugs that are provided. The drive has 4 status indicators located on the control board that light up for different system events.
