The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1336F-CWF20-AN-EN-HCS2 drive is a motor controller with a user-adjustable frequency. The controller is part of the 1336 PLUS 2 series of motor controllers with user-adjustable frequency. Controllers in this series are ideal when a direct connection needs to be made between them and their input voltage sources. However, this direct connection requires that a line reactor be used when the AC line has an impedance rating of below 1% relative to the drive’s rated input kVA. The 1336F-CWF20-AN-EN-HCS2 has its minimum input voltage rated at 500 Volts AC and its maximum voltage rated at 600 Volts AC. Additionally, the controller is designed to accommodate DC voltage provided that the DC source supplies 775 Volts DC voltage.

The Allen-Bradley 1336F-CWF20-AN-EN-HCS2 drive is rated to control a motor with a Horsepower rating of 1.5 Horsepower. Being a 1336 PLUS 2 controller, the 1336F-CWF20-AN-EN-HCS2 will indicate a fault if a pot or external interface with the drive has an open common side. Additionally, an over-temperature fault will occur if the heatsink’s temperature rises above 90 degrees Celsius. Other faults that can be reported by the 1336F-CWF20-AN-EN-HCS2 include the phase to ground fault, overvoltage fault, precharge fault, power mode fault, and the power overload fault. The 1336F-CWF20-AN-EN-HCS2 has an IP00 rated enclosure. To help in programming, monitoring, and troubleshooting the controller, using a human-machine interface module with a digital port and uploading and downloading capabilities is recommended. Note that the human-machine interface module must have an international protection rating of IP20.
