The Allen-Bradley 1336F-MCB-SP2C with the Main Control function is a drive board that is compatible with adjustable frequency AC drives, specifically those that belong to the Allen-Bradley 1336 PLUS II series. These three-phase drives are capable of delivering as much as 200,000 RMS, 600 volts of symmetrical amperes, which make them suitable for circuits that come with symmetrical line voltages. They also allow a more convenient set up for operation without compromising performance and flexibility. These drives come in different frame sizes and operators can use the 1336F-MCB-SP2C drive board with all of them.

The 1336 PLUS II drives also come with immunity to externally generated interference, specifically RFI and EMI, without needing precautionary measures. Installed on these drives are LED status indicators dedicated to identifying the current run, stop, and power supply states of these drives, as well as any faults, encountered. Its up-to-date insulated gate bipolar transistor, or IGBT, technology assures users of a quieter operation when it is operating a 1336 PLUS II drive. Other features of the Allen-Bradley 1336 PLUS II drives include a variety of onboard communication options, sensorless vector control that has an auto-tuning that helps achieve a much more seamless setting up process, S-curve deceleration and acceleration, multiple inputs and outputs, detection of load losses, a carrier frequency that users can adjust, step logic, SCANport communications protocol, and flying start. The grounding of the 1336 PLUS II drives is especially important, even with the 1336F-MCB-SP2C drive board installed. To do so, you need to connect the system ground of the drive at the PE, or power ground terminal, found on the power terminal block (or TB1). Note that the drive’s circuits also require grounding but this grounding should be independent and direct.
