* The Allen Bradley 1336-B025-EAF-FA2-L3 has been discontinued by the manufacturer, however we specialize in obsolete parts and can likely still supply surplus and/or refurbished replacement 1336-B025-EAF-FA2-L3 units instead of migration.
The 1336-B025-EAF-FA2-L3 is a product of Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. This 1336-series drive is actually an adjustable frequency AC drive that belongs to a large family of Allen-Bradley classic drives. The AC drive is meant to be used in Allen-Bradley PLC systems worldwide. The 1336-B025-EAF-FA2-L3 has 41.0 Amps output. All Allen-Bradley adjustable frequency AC drives with the drive rating code “B” are suitable for operating on three-phase voltage. Users can connect the 1336-B025-EAF-FA2-L3 to 380 Volts AC, 415 Volts AC, and 460 Volts AC voltage ratings. The outputs at these voltages are 27.0 kVA, 29.0 kVA, and 33.0 kVA, respectively. The drive rating code “B” also indicates that the drive’s frequency is 50 to 60 Hertz and it has 3 phases. Another feature of the 1336-B025-EAF-FA2-L3 adjustable frequency AC drive is that there is no need to reconnect the Fan Transformer T1 to it. The code “EAF” gives information about the enclosure type of the AC drive. The enclosure has been certified by the National Electrical Manufacturer Association and it has been given the rating “Type 1” which means that it should be used for indoor systems. NEMA Type 1 enclosures have a protection index of 20, which means that these enclosures are only capable to protect the drive components from falling dirt or very light objects larger than 12 millimeters in size, but it cannot guard against liquids (rainwater, snow) or dust particles below 12 millimeters in size.
The FA2 is the basic control panel (local display and programming panel) for NEMA Type 1 enclosures. The 1336-B025-EAF-FA2-L3 programming panel is helpful for viewing as well as programming the parameters. Most of the programming can be done without switching off the drive. But users cannot change the parameters while the drive is running. Below the programming and display board, there is another factory-installed option for the Allen-Bradley 1336-B025-EAF-FA2-L3 which is known as the Logic Interface Board. It operates at 115 Volts AC. Although programming and viewing can be done without turning off the drive, make sure to have all the personal protective equipment necessary to guard against high-voltage electrostatic discharge emitted by the 1336-B025-EAF-FA2-L3 drive. For servicing the drive, or installing or replacing the components, it is recommended that the drive be disconnected from the power source. Even when the power is cut off, the hazard of electric shock still exists because some of the components may have hazardous voltages. Before dissembling the device, measure the voltage at terminals TB3 and TB1 and make sure that there is no voltage.
