The Allen-Bradley SP-140566 DC Bus Kit is a replacement part for the Bulletin 1336 series general-purpose drives. This drive series contains several of Allen-Bradley’s most common and universal general-purpose industrial drives. The 1336 Drives incorporate microprocessor control and digital programming for accurate and repeatedly precise operation, setup, and control functions. These drives are designed to control 3-phase induction motors in critical applications, and they generate 3-phase PWM adjustable output frequency to provide adjustable motor speed which is a function of the output voltage. These drives are configured from a local or remote control panel or through an embedded serial communication port by using the optional programmer.
The SP-140566 Inductor DC Bus is meant to be installed on the left side of the main chassis. To remove the old inductor DC Bus, first, remove power from the drive. Check the Bus indicator light (DS1) and check for zero voltage at the terminal block (TB1) terminals (+DC and –DC). Disconnect the screws fastening the wires to the inductor. Additionally, remove the screws fastening the old inductor to the main chassis. Detach the bracket from the inductor and replace the old inductor DC bus with the new one before reconnecting all the wires and removed parts and powering the drive back up. The SP-140566 Inductor DC Bus Kit can be used with the Bulletin 1336 constant torque drives. It is compatible with drives with voltage ratings from 380 Volts AC to 480 Volts AC and with output ratings from 174 Kilo-Volt-Amps to 231 Kilo-Volt-Amps and current ratings from 218 Amps to 290 Amps. The SP-140566 Inductor DC Bus Kit is designed for use with a 0 to 50 degrees Celsius ambient operating temperature range and it can be stored at a temperature range of -25 to 85 degrees Celsius.
