The SP-151135 board is a base driver board that comes in the spare parts catalog for the 1336 series by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. The main devices from this series are adjustable frequency drives that operate with an AC voltage and are intended to be used alongside a variable speed motor. This drive modifies the frequency of the motor so the speed can change. The deceleration and acceleration are also controlled by this drive. The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation SP-151135 base driver board also includes a power supply PCB kit that enables the drive to receive sufficient power and voltage so it can perform its functions and have optimum performance at all times. Although the Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation SP-151135 base driver board is accessible from the front of the drive, this part is located inside the drive and it receives the protection provided by the housing of the drive. The driver board needs to be replaced when it wears out or fails and it should be inspected regularly.
The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation SP-151135 base driver board is compatible with the 1336 drives with the “B015” specifications. These specifications are a voltage range of 380 to 420 Volts AC and a nominal Horsepower rating of 11 Horsepower. The SP-151135 base driver board supports the TB4 and TB5 terminal blocks. Both terminal blocks receive and apply the voltage for the main control board, the SCANport, the encoders that are used, the LEMS, the precharge board, and any other DC fan that is installed on the drive. It is recommended to inspect the fans installed on the drive frequently since these fans can become covered with dust and dirt which will obstruct them and prevent them from performing their function, which is to ventilate the drive.
