The SP-140552 Current Transducer Kit is supplied as an accessory or spare part. The SP-140552 Current Transducer Kit contains a signal transducer that produces a signal equivalent to the current in the drive’s DC bus. The drive’s control logic then uses this signal to sense the absence or presence of a bus voltage. The SP-140552 Current Transducer Kit serves as a replacement for the 1336VT Drive’s bus sense transducer module. The SP-140552 Current Transducer Kit is designed for use only with the 1336VT Classic Drives, and it is compatible with the 1336VT Classic Drives with ratings from 6 Amps to 290 Amps, 380 Volts AC to 480 Volts AC, and 4.8 Kilo-Volt-Amps to 231 Kilo Volt-Amps (KVA).

The 1336VT Classic Drives series that the SP-140552 Current Transducer Kit is part of belongs to the Allen-Bradley general-performance line of drives. These high-performance drives are equipped with microprocessor-based and digital control for precise and repeatedly accurate control, setup, and operation. The 1336VT Drives are designed to control 3-phase induction motors in important industrial applications. They produce 3-phase pulse width modulation (PWM) adjustable frequency output to provide an adjustable motor speed to meet different application needs. Each 1336VT Drive’s output is a function of its output frequency and this output is adjustable to match the motor profile in order to get the best performance. These drives may be configured and programmed from a local or remote control panel or through a serial communication port via optional handheld configuration modules.
