The Allen-Bradley 1395-A65-C1-P11 digital DC drive comes with 230 Volts AC input voltage, 50 to 60 Hertz of input frequency, 5 Horsepower of output power ratings, and a standard type of contactor. It is a regenerative, microprocessor-based DC drive with an ambient operating temperature range of 0 to 55 degrees Celsius. It has an optional 24 Volts DC discrete adapter for Port A. independent acceleration and deceleration adjustment, preset and jog speeds, and a current limit that are some of the programmable functions of this drive. It has instantaneous overcurrent and motor overload protection. The 1395-A65-C1-P11 DC drive comes with a UL-listed, open chassis construction.

The 1395-A65-C1-P11 DC drive provides flexible speed control, cost-effective design, and durability with a fast response time. It uses a silicon controlled rectifier in its power conversion unit which converts the fixed AC supply voltage into a variable DC voltage that controls the motor speed. The +5 or +12 Volts DC control voltage that is distributed to the control board is produced by rectifying and regulating the input AC voltage. There are line chokes to protect the power bridges from the rapid rate of current changes. The adapter board of the drive has microbus ports to interface external control devices, PLCs, and discrete operators with the main control board. The programming terminal interface of the drive can be used to monitor real-time parameter values and to change parameters.
