The 1395-A65-C1-P12 digital DC drive is an Allen-Bradley, regenerative and microprocessor-based DC drive manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. It has 230 Volts AC input voltage, 50 to 60 Hertz of input frequency, and 5 Horsepower of output power. It consists of a standard type of contactor with 1 to 15 Horsepower of output. The 1395-A65-C1-P12 digital DC drive comes with an optional digital reference adapter for Port A. Its ambient operating temperature range is 0 to 55 degrees Celsius. It comes with a CSA approved, open chassis construction. The digital reference adapter board provides a digital reference input, 10 discrete inputs, 5 digital outputs, and 2 analog inputs and outputs.

The 1395-A65-C1-P12 DC drive provides voltage to the motors for the speed control of an industrial DC motor. Its SCR bridge converts AC power input voltage to adjustable voltage output which goes to the motor armature. Some of the characteristics of this DC drive include speed control through variable DC voltage, speed regulation, and a compact size. It has the capability to diagnose and monitor both the internal and external operating conditions and respond to incorrect conditions. Port A of the microbus interface can be used to connect a digital reference adapter board directly to the main control board. The digital reference adapter board has 10 inputs with LED indicators for high input level visibility which are preconfigured for signals such as the run, reference select, start, stop, and close contactor signals. The 1395-A65-C1-P12 digital DC drive must be mounted in a vertical position to maintain proper cooling. These DC drives provide reliable, cost-effective, and efficient advantages for regenerative, high power applications.
