The 1395-A65N-C1-P10 digital DC drive is an Allen-Bradley, non-regenerative, and microprocessor-based DC drive manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. It has a 230 Volts AC input voltage rating, 50 to 60 Hertz of input frequency, and 5 Horsepower of output power. It consists of a standard contactor with 1 to 15 Horsepower of output. It comes with an optional 115 Volts AC rated discrete adapter for Port A. Its ambient operating temperature range is 0 to 55 degrees Celsius. The 1395-A65N-C1-P10 DC drive has a programming terminal that is provided in 2 packages which are a digital handheld terminal and a door-mounted terminal. The drive has motor overload protection and overcurrent protection.

The 1395-A65N-C1-P10 DC drive has a “Trend Function” that allows the users to sample data in real-time and store it for examinations. The power supply of the drive provides rectified and regulated AC voltage to produce +5 or +12 Volts DC of control voltage. This control voltage is distributed to the 1395 drive control board through the power stage interface. The main control board performs all of the control functions while supporting the operation of the microprocessor program. Initializing the “ECOAST stop” will de-energize the DC loop contactor to stop the motor unless the drive has an optional dynamic braking circuitry. The armature bridge output of the 1395-A65N-C1-P10 DC drive is connected to the DC motor via the main DC contactor. Some of the common applications of these drives include hoists, elevators, machine tools, and sheet winding machine applications. If the drive is mounted in a NEMA 12 non-ventilated sheet metal enclosure, it must be sized properly to allow for adequate cooling.
