The 1395-A66N-D1-P10-P50-X1 drive is a digital DC drive that has been manufactured and designed by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. This drive comes with different options that improve its performance. Digital drives work with microprocessors and fulfill multiple functions in the machine control industry, this drive can provide independent acceleration and deceleration speeds, present speeds, jog speeds, current limits, and tapered current limits. As far as protective features go, the drive provides instantaneous overcurrent, motor overload, feedback loss, field loss, and field economy protection. The drive comes in an open chassis which makes it easier to ventilate and easier to avoid overheating. The maximum temperature that this drive can withstand is 55 degrees Celsius. Because it has an open enclosure, the drive needs to be installed in a clean location without a large number of solid particles in the atmosphere.

When it comes to additional features, the Allen-Bradley 1395-A66N-D1-P10-P50-X1 digital DC drive comes with a discrete adapter at Port A and a node adapter for Port B. It also comes with an auxiliary contact that is standard for the Horsepower rating of this device, which consists of a non-regenerative 7.5 Horsepower rating. This drive also operates with a voltage of 230 Volts AC input along with a frequency of 50 to 60 Hertz +/- 3%. The Allen-Bradley 1395-A66N-D1-P10-P50-X1 digital DC drive is composed of a main control board, a PSI switcher board, a power board, an SCR bridge, a group of fuses that include their fuse bridge, and a TB3 for control purposes. All these components need to be installed according to the steps mentioned in the manual of the drive.
