* The Allen Bradley 1395-A68-D1-P12-P50 has been discontinued by the manufacturer, however we specialize in obsolete parts and can likely still supply surplus and/or refurbished replacement 1395-A68-D1-P12-P50 units instead of migration.

The 1395-A68-D1-P12-P50 drive is a microprocessor-based digital drive that has been designed to control the different parameters of a motor such as speed control. It has been widely used in different industries due to its great protective and physical features. It has been manufactured and designed by Allen-Bradley and included in the 1395 series of digital DC drives. The Allen-Bradley 1395-A68-D1-P12-P50 microprocessor-based digital drive is composed of a main control board, a PSI switcher board, a 3-phase SCR bridge, and a group of fuses that protect the drive from the entrance of abnormal currents. It is the main control board that oversees all the logic of the drive. The drive operates with a voltage of 230 Volts AC, a regenerative Horsepower rating of 15 Horsepower, and a frequency of 50 to 60 Hertz. These specifications need to be compared with the motor specifications to ensure that operations will be secure and that there will not be any kind of inconvenience.

The Allen-Bradley 1395-A68-D1-P12-P50 microprocessor-based digital drive comes with an open enclosure that serves as an additional air inlet, enabling a different means for ventilation to be used. To avoid further problems during operations, the drive must not be exposed to overheating. The 1 problem with an open chassis is the low level of protection that these provide. The 1395-A68-D1-P12-P50 drive comes with a discrete adapter and with a node adapter. They are installed in Port A and Port B. The drive requires external ventilation equipment if the room temperature often exceeds 55 degrees Celsius, which is the maximum operating temperature for the drive.
