The 1395-A70-C2-P11 drive is a 25 Horsepower rated regenerative drive. It belongs to the 1395 product range from Allen-Bradley. The contactor on the drive has a rating of 20 to 30 Horsepower. A 24 Volts DC discrete adapter is interfaced with Port A on the main control board of the drive. External control devices, including operator devices and PLCs, interface with the drive through adapter boards with the microbus ports on the main control board. The microbus is a 60-line bus designed for data transfer between microprocessors. Adapter board connections to the main control board are made at TB-3 on the 1395 drive. For 24 Volts DC, discrete inputs are provided on the discrete adapter board. In addition, 2 digital outputs, 4 analog inputs, and 4 analog outputs are also provided. All inputs and outputs on the adapter board are user-configurable.

The dimensions of the 1395-A70-C2-P11 drive are 23.5 x 11.9 x 10.75 inches (H x W x D). The drive enclosure is open. The input voltage rating of the drive is 230 Volts AC and the drive supports 3-phase input. The drive field supply is phase-sensitive and connections must be made properly to guard against drive damage. The use of an isolation transformer is recommended if the AC input system does not have a neutral or 1-phase referenced ground. The available options for communication include the DH+, ControlNet, serial, remote I/O, and node adapter board (PLC3/5) communication options.
