The 1395-A72-C3-PZ-X1 drive is an Allen-Bradley digital DC drive. It has an output power rating of 40 Horsepower and it belongs to the 1395 product line. The 1395-A72-C3-PZ-X1 drive is a regenerative digital drive and it comes with a 40 to 50 Horsepower contactor and an auxiliary contact. Other adapters are not available on the drive. The 1395-A72-C3-PZ-X1 drive is a microprocessor drive available in a 4-quadrant setup, an armature regenerative setup, or in a 2-quadrant field setup. The standard drive enclosure is open. The programmable functions on the 1395-A72-C3-PZ-X1 drive include the independent acceleration and deceleration adjustments, current and tapered current limits, preset speed, and the jog speed functions. The protective features available on the drive include motor overload protection, instantaneous overcurrent protection, field economy protection, field loss protection, and feedback loss protection. The 1395-A72-C3-PZ-X1 drive is UL listed and is approved by the CSA standards.

The 1395-A72-C3-PZ-X1 drive does not include any analog inputs or analog outputs. Four 24 Volts DC digital inputs and one 24 Volts DC digital output are available as standard I/O on the drive. Optional I/O are available from Allen-Bradley in the form of 115 Volts AC and 24 Volts DC rated adapter boards and they can be ordered separately if they are required. The input and output voltages of the drive are 230 Volts AC and 240 Volts DC, respectively. The communication options include remote the I/O, serial, DH+, and ControlNet options. The recommended temperature ranges for drive storage and operation are 0 to 65 degrees Celsius and 0 to 55 degrees Celsius, respectively. The drive should not be installed at altitudes that exceed 3300 feet above sea level. Installation and drive repair should only be performed by trained yechnicians.
