The 1395-A73-C3-P10 drive is a DC drive rated for 50 Horsepower which belongs to the 1395 digital DC drive series that is designed and manufactured by Allen-Bradley. The 1395 series comprises regenerative and non-regenerative DC drives. The 1395-A73-C3-P10 drive is a regenerative drive. The drive comes with an integrated contactor with a 40 to 50 Horsepower rating. The optional module which comes with the drive package is a discrete adapter that is compatible with 115 Volts AC voltage. This adapter connects to Port A on the drive for interfacing with the primary control board of the drive. Integrated I/Os on the drive include four 24 Volts DC inputs and one 24 Volts DC output. The discrete adapter contains additional I/Os, including 4 digital inputs, 2 digital outputs, 4 digital inputs, and 4 digital outputs.

The input voltage rating for the 1395-A73-C3-P10 drive is 230 Volts AC (3-phase, at 47 to 63 Hertz line frequency). At its output, the voltage is 240 Volts DC. The peak ambient temperature that the open 1395-A73-C3-P10 drive can sustain is 55 degrees Celsius. EMC filtering is not available on the drive and the armature input type is 6-pulse input. For heavy-duty applications, the overload capability of the drive is 260% for 5 seconds, 200% for 10 seconds, and 150% for 60 seconds.
