The product line to which the drive belongs is the 1395 Digital DC drive series which comprises non-regenerative and regenerative drives. A multi-communication adapter is connected to Port B on the drive and it provides an interface to PLC controllers from Allen-Bradley and other equipment that possess serial communication capability. The multi-communication adapter is not preconfigured. A DC contactor with a 60 to 75 Horsepower output rating is part of the drive package. The operating temperature range for the 1395-A74-C4-P51 drive is from 0 to 55 degrees Celsius. During storage, the ambient temperature should be maintained between 0 and 65 degrees Celsius. The 1395-A74-C4-P51 drive should be protected from corrosive elements including dust, vapors, and gases.

The 1395-A74-C4-P51 drive belongs to the 230 Volts AC class of drives. DC drives from the 1395 series are also available in 460 Volts AC, 575 Volts AC, and 660 Volts AC voltage classes.
