|

The Allen-Bradley 1395-B69-C1-P12 digital DC drive is a regenerative, DC motor speed control system that supplies its load with the necessary voltage to make it run at a previously configured velocity according to the user’s application needs. It is intended for a wide variety of electrical machines such as downhill conveyors, elevators, hoists or cranes, where the power supplied to the motor needs to be reduced at frequent intervals, causing the motors to overhaul when the mechanical force in the shaft makes the motor rotate faster than its own synchronous speed rating and start operating as a generator.

* The Allen Bradley 1395-B69-C1-P12 has been discontinued by the manufacturer, however we specialize in obsolete parts and can likely still supply surplus and/or refurbished replacement 1395-B69-C1-P12 units instead of migration.

The Allen-Bradley 1395-B69-C1-P12 digital DC drive is a regenerative, DC motor speed control system that supplies its load with the necessary voltage to make it run at a previously configured velocity according to the user application needs. It is intended for a wide variety of electrical machines such as downhill conveyors, elevators, hoists or cranes, where the power supplied to motor needs to be reduced at frequent intervals, causing the motors to overhaul when the mechanical force in the shaft makes the motor rotate faster than its own synchronous speed and start operating as a generator. For those applications, the Allen-Bradley 1395-B69-C1-P12 drive is a cost-effective solution because it redirects the regenerated voltage back to the AC utility line for reutilization, instead of wasting it as heat.

The nominal Horsepower rating of the Allen-Bradley 1395-B69-C1-P12 digital DC drive is 20 Horsepower and it comes with a C1 standard 2 to 30 Horsepower contactor. It offers great versatility of connection to the supply lines, because it is able to operate with any voltage in the 150 to 460 Volts AC range (only in 3-phase connections). This version of Allen-Bradley 1395-B69-C1-P12 drive provides a digital reference adapter in Port A of the drive’s microbus interface, where the user can connect 10 discrete inputs, 5 discrete outputs (at 24 Volts DC), 2 analog inputs (+/–10 Volts DC), 2 analog outputs (+/–10 Volts DC) and 1 digital reference input. Like all of the drives in the Allen-Bradley 1395 series, the 1395-B69-C1-P12 drive is made with an open type of construction, so necessary environmental protection measures such as installing the drive in a NEMA enclosure are strongly advised.
