* The Allen Bradley 1395-B69-D1-P10-P50 has been discontinued by the manufacturer, however we specialize in obsolete parts and can likely still supply surplus and/or refurbished replacement 1395-B69-D1-P10-P50 units instead of migration.
The Allen-Bradley 1395-B69-D1-P10-P50 drive is a 20 Horsepower rated regenerative version of the 1395 digital DC drive. It comes with a dynamic braking contactor or D1 contactor, designed for a Horsepower rating between 2 and 30 Horsepower. This drive has a 115 Volts AC discrete adapter board directly connected to the drive’s main control board through the Microbus Interface so that external components such as relays or pushbuttons can command the STOP, JOG, START and CLEAR FAULT functions of the drive. Finally, the Allen-Bradley 1395-B69-D1-P10-P50 drive can also interface with any Allen-Bradley PLC through a node adapter board in Port B of the Microbus Interface, allowing the users to integrate the drive with advanced control platforms.
The power supply for the Allen-Bradley 1395-B69-D1-P10-P50 drive needs to deliver 3-phase voltage anywhere in the range from 150 to 460 Volts AC. The drive's output voltage will vary between 240 Volts DC (for a 230 Volts AC input), 400 Volts DC (for a 380 to 415 Volts AC input), and 500 Volts DC (for a 460 Volts AC input). Additional devices for motor speed control include encoder drive modules and DC Tachometers (these are optional and sold separately). Given its open-type of construction, the Allen-Bradley 1395-B69-D1-P10-P50 drive should be installed in an enclosure or in a specially designed room in order to provide the necessary protection against humid or dusty environments. The ideal type of application where an Allen-Bradley 1395-B69-D1-P10-P50 drive would achieve the best results would be one where the motor needs to be accelerated and decelerated at frequent intervals, like in electrical elevators, hoists, downhill conveyors, and other DC machinery where regenerative voltages are expected to occur.
