The Allen-Bradley 1395-B71-C1-P10 Drive is a 1395 DC Drive manufactured by Rockwell Automation/Allen-Bradley with horsepower ratings ranging from 0.75-300HP or from 2-600HP and an input voltage within the range of 230V DC, or 460V DC. The Allen-Bradley 1395-B71-C1-P10 Digital DC Drive features a NEMA Type 1 enclosure with or without a gasket and it can come with optional door fan filters. The Allen-Bradley 1395-B71-C1-P10 is also a microprocessor Digital DC Drive that comes in various forms which include the four quadrants version, the armature regenerative form, the two-quadrant field form, and the non–regenerative form. The drive features programmable functions such as the independent acceleration and deceleration adjustment function and the tapered current limit function, and the jog speeds, preset speeds, and the current limit feature.

Some of the protective features of the 1395-B71-C1-P10 Digital DC Drive include the instantaneous overcurrent, motor overload and feedback loss, field economy, and the field loss protection features. The Allen-Bradley 1395-B71-C1-P10 features dynamic braking and line reactors. It has a node adapter board that provides an interface between the external devices (push buttons, pots) and the drive. This board enables the drive to be controlled by a PLC from the PLC3 or the PLC5 series. The drive also has a multi-communications adapter board with the hardware necessary for connecting the 1395-B71-C1-P10 to the Data Highway Plus network or Allen-Bradley’s RIO network. It also comes with a ControlNet adapter board which contains all the hardware needed for connecting the 1395 drive to the ControlNet Network.
