* The Allen Bradley 1395-B71-C1-P10-P51-X1 has been discontinued by the manufacturer, however we specialize in obsolete parts and can likely still supply surplus and/or refurbished replacement 1395-B71-C1-P10-P51-X1 units instead of migration.

The Allen-Bradley 1395-B71-C1-P10-P51-X1 drive is a 30 Horsepower rated regenerative version of the Allen-Bradley 1395 digital DC drive. The additional features included with this drive version are a 115 Volts AC rated discrete adapter board in Port A of the microbus interface; a multi-communication adapter in Port B of the microbus interface, and a standard-type of 2 to 30 Horsepower contactor, designated as a C1 contactor. Using the Terminal Block TB-3 at the bottom of the drive, the operators can add external elements such as relays, switches, or pushbuttons (via the 115 Volts AC discrete adapter board) or even a connection to a PLC controller for applications with higher complexity (via the multi-communication adapter).

Optional elements for implementing complex motor control logic can also be added to the 1395-B71-C1-P10-P51-X1 drive, like DC tachometers or encoder drive modules which are sold separately. To supply the necessary power for the drive, any AC utility line with a 3-phase voltage between 150 and 460 Volts AC can be used. The output voltage will vary according to the following values: 240 Volts DC for a 230 Volts AC input, 400 Volts DC for a 380 to 415 Volts AC input, and 500 Volts DC for a 460 Volts AC input. Applications where regenerative voltages are expected, such as electrical elevators, electrical cranes, electrical hoists, or downhill conveyors are suitable applications for implementing an Allen-Bradley 1395-B71-C1-P10-P51-X1 regenerative DC drive. The 1395-B71-C1-P10-P51-X1 digital DC drive is ideal for providing energy efficiency and effective power utilization in industrial settings,
