The Allen-Bradley 1395-B71N-D1-P11 drive is a 30 Horsepower rated non-regenerative version of the 1395 digital DC drive provided with a 2 to 30 Horsepower contactor for dynamic braking, identified as a D1 contactor, that is capable of supplying the necessary current from the armature bridge of the drive to any motor in its Horsepower range. It is also factory-equipped with a 24 Volts DC discrete adapter board in Port A of the microbus interface, which enables 4 optically coupled inputs for an external operator to send commands in order to control basic functions such as the STOP, JOG, START, and CLEAR FAULT functions.

* The Allen Bradley 1395-B71N-D1-P11 has been discontinued by the manufacturer, however we specialize in obsolete parts and can likely still supply surplus and/or refurbished replacement 1395-B71N-D1-P11 units instead of migration.
The Allen-Bradley 1395-B71N-D1-P11 drive is a 30 Horsepower non-regenerative version of the 1395 digital DC drive provided with a 2 to 30 Horsepower rated contactor for dynamic braking, identified as a D1 type of contactor that is capable of supplying the necessary current from the armature bridge of the drive to any motor in its Horsepower range. It is also factory-equipped with a 24 Volts DC rated discrete adapter board in Port A of the microbus interface, which enables 4 optically coupled inputs for an external operator device to send commands in order to control basic functions such as the STOP, JOG, START, and CLEAR FAULT functions. The Allen-Bradley 1395-B71N-D1-P11 drive needs to be supplied with 3-phase, AC voltage in the range of 150 to 460 Volts AC at 50 to 60 Hertz. The output voltage of the drive will vary depending on the power supply. The output voltage is 240 Volts DC for a 230 Volts AC input, 400 Volts DC for a 380 to 415 Volts AC input, and 500 Volts DC for a 460 Volts AC input. If any additional accessories like encoder drive modules or DC tachometers need to be added to the drive, they should be ordered separately and installed by the users.
Special precautions should be taken when installing the Allen-Bradley 1395-B71N-D1-P11 drive, such as placing it in a vertical position and inside an appropriately protected enclosure or in a specially designed room, because of its open-type construction. A forced ventilation system with fans and air filters or a closed-loop enclosure temperature and humidity regulation system would also be efficient measures to help to extend the drive’s life and enhance its performance. The 1395-B71N-D1-P11 drive's user-programmable functions include independent acceleration/deceleration adjustment, preset speeds, jog speeds, current limits, tapered current limits, and many other useful features.
