Allen Bradley’s 1395-B72-D2-P10-X1 is a digital AC drive.  Installed with a microprocessor, this drive is available as a four-quadrant, armature regenerative (reversing) module with two quadrant fields. The 1395-B72-D2-P10-X1 has a drive input voltage of 460 Volts at 60 Hertz, 40 Hp, and a dynamic braking of between 40 to 60 Hp.  This module has one Normally Open and one Normally Closed auxiliary contact (for special interlocks), as well as a discrete adapter, rated at 115 Volts AC, installed in its Port A. Only one option can be installed in a port at a time. The armature’s maximum output current is 110 A (460 Volts) and the motor has a 500 Volt DC armature voltage. This drive has a fused AC input, field regulation of over 6 to 1-speed spectrum, DC contactor, constructed with an open chassis, and is protected against field economy, motor overload, feedback loss, instantaneous overcurrent, and field loss.  The programmable features of the 1395-B72-D2-P10-X1 include current limit, jog speeds, tapered current limit, preset speeds and independent acceleration/deceleration adjustment.

The 1395-B72-D2-P10-X1 comes with an optional 115 Volt AC discrete adapter installed in its Port A.  This adapter further provides four 120 Volt AC digital inputs, four analog +/-10 Volt DC inputs, four analog +/-10 Volt DC outputs and two 125 Volt AC contact type digital outputs. Some of the other options that can be installed on the drive include a multi-communications adapter board, a digital reference adapter board, a ControlNet board, and a node adapter board. This drive must be stored in a dry, clean environment, free of corrosive material, at an ambient temperature range of 0 to 65 degrees Celsius. Its humidity must be kept at 5% to 95%, non-condensing.
