The Allen-Bradley 1395-B73-D2-P10 drive is a digital DC drive (regenerative) designed for the precise control of DC motors in a wide range of motion control applications. It offers micro-computer based control for accurate, precise, and repeated control sequences. The 1395-B73-D2-P10 drive features independently programmed acceleration and deceleration settings, and programmable jog/preset speed settings. It has has a fused AC input for short-circuit protection, and an integral DC contactor that connects the armature output to the DC motor. The 1395-B73-D2-P10 drive has a 3-phase voltage rating of 460 Volts AC (at 50/60 Hertz) with an acceptable input range of -10% to +10% of 460 Volts AC voltage, and a maximum output voltage rating of 500 Volts DC. It offers a speed regulation up to 0.01% of the set speed over a 100:1 speed range by using an encoder, and it offers the users a feedback choice between the 5 PY DC tachometer or the dual-channel incremental encoder. The 1395-B73-D2-P10 drive has a 115 Volts AC discrete adapter option with inputs and outputs pre-configured for various drive controls like the “STOP," "START," "JOG," and "CLEAR FAULT” controls, and these inputs and outputs can also be configured for custom user control. The 1395-B73-D2-P10 drive has an open-chassis design, and it has an operating temperature range of 0 degrees Celsius to 55 degrees Celsius.
