The 1395-B75-C3-P10-P51 is a digital DC drive manufactured by Allen-Bradley. This member product of Bulletin 1395 enables modulating speed control of DC motors.

Using the output capabilities of the drive such as 75.0 Horsepower and current of 140.0 Amperes along a 500VDC output voltage. The overload capability of the drive includes 150% - 60s 200% - 10s and 260% - 5s. The control performance of the drive is Full wave, full control, 6-SCR with control features of Drive overload protection, PI control (Spd or Trq), Spd/Trq/Min/Max/Sum Droop and Feedback loss switchover.

This Digital DC drive has an integrated 115 VAC control interface which is mounted to Port A and Multi communication adapter that attaches to the Port B. The control interface board interface external signals to control operation of the motor.

The Discrete adapter board provides Four (4) 120VAC Digital Inputs, Two (2) Contact outputs rated 125VAC, Four (4) Analog Inputs, Four (4) Analog Outputs that are compatible for +/– 10VDC signals.

The Multi-Communication adapter enables the capability of the drive to communicate with Allen-Bradley Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and other equipment over serial communication interface. Specifically, Data Highway Plus (DH+) and Remote I/O (RIO) communication port. The multi-communication adapter’s Two (2) channels are compatible with PLC3, PLC250, PLC5/15, PLC5/25, PLC5/40, PLC5/60 and Controlview. The multi-communication adapter must be manually configured. It also has Four (4) Function blocks that are programmable to manipulate data. This adapter also has One (1) programmable discrete input.

These Two (2) communication adapters complement the integrated inputs and outputs and the provides RS485 communication terminal.

The new Allen-Bradley 1395-B75-C3-P10-P51 Drive Controller which features a multi-communication adapter option, a regenerative Series A type, and discrete adapter board. The input voltage requirement of this drive is 460V AC along 75HP power supply. The power supply unit converts the 115VAC voltage to the controlled DC voltages of +5V DC and +/ 12VDC. It also gives the supply voltage to the snubber boards and the SCR pulse transformer and produces SCR gate signals for the field.
