The Allen-Bradley 1397-A007R-HAB digital DC drive is a compact, regenerative drive from 1397 series of DC drives. It has 230 Volts AC of input voltage, 50/60 Hertz of input frequency, and 7.5 Horsepower of output horsepower. Its armature voltage and current ratings are 240 Volts DC and 29 Amps, respectively. Its DC field voltage and current ratings are 150 Volts DC and 10 Amps, respectively. It has a 5000 Amps short circuit current rating. The drive has automatic speed loop and digital current tuning capabilities for fast startup and precise motor control.

The 1397-A007R-HAB DC drive offers programming and diagnostics features for easy setup and maintenance. Its I/O interface has 10 digital inputs, 3 contact outputs, 2 analog reference inputs, and 2 analog outputs. The DC drive communication is established through a flexible Allen-Bradley SCANport architecture. The bottom of the drive has a regulator board terminal strip for control connections. It has an open chassis construction so the users can select the suitable enclosure that matches the application. The 1397-A007R-HAB DC drive maintains reduced operating noise and it needs minimal maintenance compared to AC drives. The drive can be controlled both locally and remotely with a keypad and by using terminals at the regulator board terminal strip.
