* The Allen Bradley 1397-B005N-DS050-MB006-FS2004-PE-HAP has been discontinued by the manufacturer, however we specialize in obsolete parts and can likely still supply surplus and/or refurbished replacement 1397-B005N-DS050-MB006-FS2004-PE-HAP units instead of migration.

The 1397-B005N-DS050-MB006-FS2004-PE-HAP DC drive is a compact, non-regenerative DC drive manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. It has a 460 Volts AC input voltage rating, a 50/60 Hertz input frequency rating, and a 5 Horsepower output power rating. It consists of control options such as an AC line disconnect, a field current regulator, a blower motor starter, and a pulse encoder kit. The 1397-B005N-DS050-MB006-FS2004-PE-HAP DC drive comes with a programmer-only human-machine interface option. The diagnostic feature of the drive detects sustained speed, AC line high and low voltage levels, feedback scaling, and motor brush wear. The drive can communicate with Allen-Bradley PLCs via remote I/O.

The 1397-B005N-DS050-MB006-FS2004-PE-HAP DC drive has a user-configurable outer control loop that can be used to regulate external process variables such as the temperature, pressure, and tension. The drive has normally open relay contacts at the logic output circuits. The contacts are closed when energized. The logic input circuit of the drive can be powered from an external +24 Volts DC power source and its common must be connected to 24 Volts COM on the regulator board. Avoid connecting external power sources to the +24 Volts connections on the terminal strip of the regulator board. The 1397-B005N-DS050-MB006-FS2004-PE-HAP DC drive has a multi-connection communication bus called the SCANport for external control connections. The front-accessible human-machine interface module allows different drive functions to be controlled. When selecting wires, shielded wire is recommended in control circuits for protection against interference. Mount the drive in a vertical position to maintain proper cooling.
