The 1397-B005R-HAP-PE digital DC drive is a compact, regenerative DC drive from Allen-Bradley. It belongs to the 1397 series of DC drives. The 1397-B005R-HAP-PE DC drive comes with a human-machine interface module that provides simple programming and flexibility. The programming and diagnostic information of the drive can be found on the HMI (Human-Machine Interface) in plain text. The auto-tuning of the current loop can be performed on drives with the encoder feedback and the analog tach feedback. The jumper settings of the drive can be used to determine the tachometer voltage range, field settings, and the reference for the automatic and manual modes. The drive converts 3-phase full-wave power without a flyback rectifier.
