The Allen-Bradley 1397-B010R-HA2 digital DC drive is a compact, regenerative drive from the 1397 series of DC drives. It has 460 Volts AC of input voltage, 50/60 Hertz of input frequency, and 10 Horsepower of output power. Its armature voltage and current ratings are 500 Volts DC and 19 Amps, respectively. Its DC field voltage and current ratings are 300 Volts DC and 10 Amps, respectively. The 1397-B010R-HA2 DC drive has a 5000 Amps short circuit rating. The human-machine interface option for this drive is a programmer/controller with a digital potentiometer. The programming and diagnostic information is displayed in plain text on the human-machine interface module. Its diagnostic features detect and trip the drive in overcurrent, overvoltage, tachometer loss, and field loss situations.

The 1397-B010R-HA2 DC drive easily communicates with DeviceNet devices and ControlNet devices while allowing up to 5 interfaces to connect with the drive. Communication with the drive is accomplished through the Allen-Bradley SCANport interface. The logic input circuit of the drive can be powered from an internal +24 Volts DC power supply unit and it is available at the regulator board terminal strip. Do not connect the external power source to the +24 Volts connections on the terminal strip of the regulator board. The drive provides current and speed loop auto-tuning facilities with encoder feedback. It comes with a compact, open chassis construction that allows the users to select a proper enclosure for the drive. In order to maintain proper cooling, make sure to mount the drive in a vertical position. The 1397-B010R-HA2 DC drive can be used in a variety of industrial applications such as metal industry, material handling, mixers, and crane applications.
