Allen-Bradley manufactures the 40262-007-51 timer as a pneumatic timer with 4 to 8 readouts and with several mounting options to suit the application. It is constructed with a durable body of aluminum with bases to provide sturdy connection points. The timer can measure either delays from off to on or delays from on to off that incorporate 5/2 or 3/2 output valves. It features a 2 to 8 operation pressure bar with 5m connection ports. The 40262-007-51 timer has a continuous duty cycle with a minimum pulse duration of 8 milliseconds and a minimum pulse of 10, and approximate dimensions of 22 millimeters x 50 millimeters x 66 millimeters with panel cutout dimensions of 22 millimeters x 32 millimeters. The device weighs approximately 7 to 13 grams in a metallic steel frame body at shipping.

Additional features of the 40262-007-51 pneumatic timer include a black with white display and support for cooling from filtered, dry air. It is non-lubricated. It can operate in ambient temperatures ranging between 0 and 60 degrees Celsius with the line pressure applied to Port 1 and a reset time of 200 milliseconds. A rear mounting bracket can be used to mount the timer on a DIN rail or in the back of a panel as required. The reset time is made possible by removing the line pressure. The 40262-007-51 pneumatic timer is so efficient that during the timing cycle, only -3 l/m of air is consumed, making it very adaptable and flexible. The timer is provided with an independent (disconnected) control input signal port on the underside of the base.
