The Allen-Bradley 825-MAJ smart motor manager runs on a supply voltage of 220-240V AC. It also has a 50-60 Hz line frequency, a shock resistance of 30 g at ½ sine for 18 ms, and a vibration resistance of 3 g at 10-150 Hz. Its operating temperature ranges from -5-60 oC, while its non-operating and transport temperatures are both -40-60 oC. The enclosure rating of this motor manager is NEMA Type 4, IP65.

Installed on the 825-MAJ motor manager is an expansion slot that lets you connect to various networks, particularly Modbus, remote I/O, and DeviceNet networks. It features a single-line LCD that can display 2 lines of text alternately, a keypad input, and an LED fault indicator. Note that this indicator can show you if a trip or a fault has occurred. This motor manager also comes with two relays, specifically the main relay and an alarm relay.

This motor manager’s protection, monitoring, diagnostics, and warning capabilities minimize the number of shutdowns that may occur and it is also ideal for use with low and medium voltage applications. Its features include thermal overload protection, jam (high overload or stalling) prevention, underload prevention, emergency start, ground (earth) fault (Holmgreen) protection, phase imbalance (asymmetry) prevention, limited starts per hour, and a starting time monitor.
