The Allen-Bradley 825-MN is a smart motor manager with a 380-415V AC supply voltage. It also has a 50-60 Hz line frequency, an operating temperature of -5-60 ËšC, and transport and non-operating temperatures of -40-60 ËšC. This motor voltage also has a shock resistance of 30 g for 18 ms at ½ sine, a vibration resistance of 3 g at 10-150 Hz, and an enclosure rating of NEMA Type 4, IP65.

Because of the 825-MN motor manager’s comprehensive protection, diagnosis, monitoring, and warning capabilities, the occurrence of shutdowns are minimized and it is ideal for applications that require low or medium voltage. Its protective features include the emergency start feature, starting time monitor, ground (earth) fault (Holmgreen) feature, thermal overload feature, underload feature, jam (high overload or stalling) feature, limited starts per hour, and the phase imbalance (asymmetry) protection.

Featured on this motor manager is a single-line LCD with a keypad input, with the LCD having the capacity to alternately display 2 lines of text. It also has an LED fault indicator installed that can determine if a fault or trip occurred. This motor manager also has the main relay, an alarm relay, and an expansion port for connecting it to a DeviceNet, Remote I/O, or Modbus network. Its rated motor current is 0.5-2000A and the underload range is 25-100%.
