About 8520-MTB

The Allen-Bradley 8520-MTB Manual Operator Control Panel is the perfect control solution for machine builders that need to quickly provide plant operators with a tool that is easy to use for manually controlling an industrial application process or a piece of machinery. This operator control panel from the 8520 product line does not have a screen, but it has several manual control devices that include switches, potentiometers, function selectors, and an emergency stop button, so that the machine builders can assign a specific function or part of the application process to different devices on the Allen-Bradley 8520-MTB Manual Operator Control Panel. The control panel has pushbuttons for turning on and off, potentiometers to manually adjust the speed of the rotation of a motor shaft, switches to select between the default manual or optional automatic operation of the controller and the machine that it is connected to, and other independent customizable functions that are available for easy configuration and integration on the plant floor.

The Allen-Bradley 8520-MTB Manual Operator Control Panel needs to be properly protected from high levels of humidity and direct exposure to water and moisture. This control panel is based on a printed circuit board that is designed to be adapted to the widest variety of industrial and scientific applications possible, but the technology that makes this possible is susceptible to damage by common industrial contaminants. It is the final users’ responsibility to provide the optimal conditions that are required for the Allen-Bradley 8520-MTB Manual Control Operator Panel to operate safely. No major maintenance operations are required if the control panel is used properly, but basic troubleshooting and repair work may be required occasionally and frequent device inspection is encouraged. Only properly trained electronics technicians should be in charge of examining and servicing this manual operator control panel and its constituent parts. The recommended temperature range for operation should be between 0 and 60 degrees Celsius (32 and 140 degrees Fahrenheit).
