4100-204-RL

The 4100-204-RL is an IMC S-class compact motion controller that has 4 axes, a 5 Volts DC input voltage, and 20 dedicated discrete inputs. It is manufactured by Allen-Bradley. It has a serial port, an axis link, and a remote I/O communication option. It has a 5 Volts DC input voltage and I/O input power in the range of 5 to 40 Volts DC. It comes with an Intel i960 RISC microprocessor. It has a factory-set operating temperature range of 0 to 50 Degrees Celsius. This is a completely digital device that needs no manual adjustments to be made to settings like the temperature adjustments or time adjustments.  It can produce motion on any axis in various ways. The indexer can move using either a trapezoidal, S-curve or a parabolic velocity path.

It has a 16-bits resolution and a serial port on the front panel for standard communication. The 4100-204-RL provides a complete programmable controller which is suitable for various industrial grade applications. A remote I/O option is present which allows the 4100-204-RL to communicate with other Allen-Bradley devices. The application programming for this device is completed by using the GML (Graphical Motion Control Language) developed by Allen-Bradley. More than 100 various commands are available for customized operation. The 4100-204-RL supports multi-tasking and it can execute up to 10 tasks at a time. To prevent accidental or unauthorized changes to application programs and setup parameters, there is a memory lock key switch on the front panel. There is a CPU watchdog with an LED on the front for fail-safe protection.
