* The Allen Bradley 4100-212-F has been discontinued by the manufacturer, however we specialize in obsolete parts and can likely still supply surplus and/or refurbished replacement 4100-212-F units instead of migration.
The 4100-212-F is an Integrated Motion Controller that is part of the IMC S Class series of industrial equipment, which assists higher-end facilities with automating certain operations to provide a boost to the overall productivity. This device offers several higher-end features that make it good for larger facilities and industrial factories where continuous performance is required; in these kinds of factories the risk of operational failures cannot be tolerated due to the large losses that may be incurred when operations are halted due to surges, under load, and other potential problems that may develop when a lower end device is used in such a facility. The Allen Bradley Integrated Motion Controller 4100-212-F features an integrated Serial Port Communication system, with a total of 10 dedicated discrete input units. This offers a more advanced input operation toward the Integrated Motion Controller, ensuring that operational control can be executed over multiple devices. This reduces the need for single units, such as Adjustable Frequency AC Drives, for each of the units that need to be controlled, and also offers a more advanced solution for the control of three-phase induction hardware and equipment.
Two different input voltage ranges are supported by the 4100-212-F, which can also be configured according to the requirements of the equipment that will be controlled by this device. These frequency ranges are 90 to 132 Volts AC and 175 to 264 Volts AC. Additionally, the I/O input requirements of the Integrated Motion Controller are between 5 and 40 Volts DC. Note that the 4100-212-F features two axes and a serial port as a standard communication platform; this allows for easier access toward the configuration files contained on this device as well as allowing the programmer involved in the operational facility to develop adequate programs and application and upload these to this device, without networked connections or other complex scenarios. Once connected to an input device, the 4100-212-F controller features a 16-bit resolution display on the connected display terminal. This display terminal can be used to provide feedback and programming directly to this device, without any external programming.
