The Allen-Bradley 4100-REC Resolver to Encoder Converter is a 2-axis IMC S Class converter and it is a precise, heavy-duty, and cost-effective industrial solution for the processing and preparation of the incoming signals from position measurement devices in servo-controlled systems. The Allen-Bradley 4100-REC Resolver to Encoder Converter is specifically designed and built to operate in tandem with Allen-Bradley 1394 GMC or IMC S Class series compact motion controllers. The output signal produced by this resolver to encoder converter is known as an A Quad B quadrature signal and it is fed directly to the Allen-Bradley motion controller in the system. The resolver to encoder converter has 2 independent channels intended for use on different movement axes of the machine that it controls.



 



The Allen-Bradley 4100-REC Resolver to Encoder Converter contains sensitive equipment. Only qualified technicians should be allowed to undertake maintenance or repair operations in this device. An important recommendation to diminish the risk of shock from electrical discharges is to make sure that all the capacitors in the system have been completely discharged before attempting any type of maintenance operation on the converter.
