Auxiliary connections are made through the auxiliary connector on the front of the drive. The communication topologies supported by the 2198-E1015-ERS drive include ring, star, and linear Ethernet topologies while using the ControlLogix, Micro8000, and MicroLogix controllers. If any advice becomes disconnected in linear topologies, then all the devices that are downstream of that device will lose communication.
