The Allen-Bradley  2198-C1007-ERS Servo Drive is a single-axis, Ethernet/IP servo drive which belongs to the Allen-Bradley Kinetix 5300 series of servo drives. It comes with a main AC input current rating of 3.56 Amps, a peak AC input current rating of 10.48 Amps, a control power input voltage range of 21.6 to 26.4 Volts DC, and a continuous output current rating of 4.6 Amps. The 2198-C1007-ERS Servo Drive provides a wide power range with a cost-effective drive solution. This module can be easily integrated with the Logix 5000 controllers. It uses 2090-series cables, Ethernet cables, a feedback connector kit, and a 24 Volts shared-bus connector kit for providing better connectivity. It is designed with state-of-the-art technology to increase the productivity of the whole system.

The 2198-C1007-ERS Servo Drive has standards inputs for providing the required scalability. It uses the HF bonding technique to connect to drive assemblies, frames, shields, a metal chassis, and an enclosure for reducing the effects of electromagnetic interference. The hardwired Safe Torque-Off feature with a dual-port EtherNet/IP feature is integrated into the 2198-C1007-ERS Servo Drive. It uses compatible AC line filters for both single-phase and 3-phase applications. It can wire external safety devices through its safe torque-off connector. It is recommended to install the module in a NEMA 4X enclosure which provides an IP 66 level of protection. During installation, make sure to leave the free space required for cables and wires around the drive. Some of the compatible motors and actuators include the Kinetix TLP servo motors, MP motors, TL/TLY servo motors, MP linear actuators, and LDAT-series linear thrusters. This module can run motion applications on a single control platform.
